Unfortunately it does say "#include <Phonon>" in some places... for example 
here:
http://doc.trolltech.com/4.4/phonon.html

Anyway, using the phonon and Qt packages from Kubuntu 8.10 I also had no 
troubles (as the other already poster stated).
