Hi,
I am completely new to Qt.I am using Qt designer 4.3 and created a dialog with a push button and an edit box.The plan was that in the final product when I click the push button, the message 'Hi' should be displayed in the edit box.
I created a slot display() and made the needed connections. The problem is,I can't seem to find where to write the code for the display() slot (to display 'Hi' in the edit box when the push button is clicked)...where do I have to click or what's the path to get the window for writing the code.
Also, where do we write the main.cpp file(or,what's the path to get the main.cpp file).
Yesterday a friend showed me Qt 3.3 where he clicked 'New' and then selected main.cpp icon in the dialog box that came up...here,in 4.3,I can't find any such thing.
Sorry,if I sound a bit confusing,am new to Qt and don't know much about the terminology.
I would really appreciate if you could include a few screen shots in your reply.
Any help/advice would be welcome....thanks in advance..
