[Qt-interest] Upgrading Qt

With regards to your reply, i need to upgrade my Qt from version 3.3 to 4.4/4.5 right? Previously, i have encountered few problems on installing it on my Macintosh. Its been terrible for me until I found this link http://stevechanin.blogspot.com/2007/01/installing-qtruby-on-mac-osx.html (but still need changes here and there).

How can i upgrade to version 4.4/4.5 without risking my current work here. If possible can you give me guidance or any links that can be useful for my later upgrading reference.
