Thanks again Andreas.

It would be really great if someone could take a look at the attached example. 

The frame used to be displayed on the main window dialog before I promoted the 
frame and I expect that I've made a simple omission.

MyFrame's paint event is called but nothing is painted which is to expected 
since the frame isn't displayed.
