Someone asked how to access QtDesigner from within QtCreator:

You can either double-click on an existing *.ui file in the Project 
list, or create a new form by way of the menu: "File->New.../Qt Designer 
Form".

The signal/slot editor has apparently been deactivated or removed from 
the embedded designer (see "qt-creator" newsgroup).
