[Qt-interest] open a file at a given offset.

Hello everyone,

I have the following task to do.

I am given the offset position of some text in a text file. I am required to
open the text file such that the TextEdit shows that offset position when
opened again.

This is analogous to having bookmarks in books wherein we don't turn pages
from the beginning of the book to the page we last read but directly open
the last read page.

Please help me out.
