[Qt-interest] Qt Apps Suddenly Look Ugly

Hi,
I've been developing Qt applications on my ubuntu for some time now. I
use the GNOME desktop environment. I don't know which settings I changed
but all of my qt applications appear without any visual themes applied -
very blocky and boring.
I sometimes run the application from the command like as root and it
takes the KDE settings of root - which looks normal. I thought may be
its because of the visual theme of the kde environment so I even
switched to the kde environment to see if the settings are set like that
but it is not - running my app in the kde environment gives it a
different visual theme.
I've run the same application in a different ubuntu where there is no qt
sdk installed. But there the qt app ran using the gnome's visual theme.
Why do you think this issue exists?
Raj
