We built Qt 4.4.3 on HP-UXi 11.23 once with gcc. But it's not a supported 
platform: the mkspec was added because someone managed to build and 
contributed the file.

I did lots of changes to qatomic_ia64.h for Qt 4.5.0. You may want to try 
that instead. (I tested the changes on Linux only)
