[Qt-interest] How to draw a 2-D matrix as a 3-D surface

Hi All,
I'd like to draw a 2-D matrix as a 3-D surface.
I used the open-GL support of Qt and works.
But I don't need to rotate, traslate and other very powerfull features of GL 
support.
So I'd like to know if there is a simpler way to make the drawing and / or if 
there are some already made widgets to achieve such a result.
