Please, Mr. Shariff, don't write me in private begging me for what do I know, and best is don't even bother other people on qt-interest, if you do not have specific Qt (!) questions - I already gave you a link which basically said: "Do your homework first":

That's nice that you want to develop such an application for yourself, and I know that you probably have a tight time schedule and everything. I understand you already picked up some keywords such as "sniffer", "server" and "client". So do your further analysis with these, read some good books on TCP/IP and network protocols, read the Qt docs as always and see how Qt can help you with regards to socket programming.
