[Qt-interest] QDir::entryList() and QDir::entryInfoList() on USB stick

Dear all,

I am observing long runtimes (10 to 50 seconds) for the above mentioned 
functions when the directory is located on an USB stick with VFAT 
filesystem.

The USB stick get's recognized as a USB 1.1 device and I am on a Linux 2.6 
system. Is that a normal behaviour?
