Why???
Do you want to close apps that are not yours?
Who tells you that there aren't any other X-sessions running?
Who tells you that the "windows" you encounter aren't Xnest/Xephyr/vnc windows
which in turn have apps running in them (local or remote)?
This is really another of the strange requests and I would like to understand
_why_ you want to do that.
