Good point - did not consider that. Though the user would have
subscribed at some point, so they would be aware of the process
(either email or the signup page), or does it not work like that for
NNTP? I've never actually sent anything via usenet so not sure how
that aspect works.

That was quite entertaining to read, even though I've never really
