The source code for the demo is provided with the source package. You
can find it in GICS-0.1.0-Source/demos/simpledemo.

Thanks for pointing that out. My CPU load is also too high (around 80%)
when running the demo. We will investigate this problem. Can you give us
some details about your platform?
