Hi Stephen,
Cant we do
QMAKE_CLEAN += /path/to/file

QT_DISTCLEAN += $${QMAKE_CLEAN}

or

QMAKE_CLEAN += /path/to/file

QT_DISTCLEAN += /path/to/file

could you please check and tell me if its works on your system.
