[Qt-interest] Qt 4.6, coca, and static linking

I'm slightly confused here. According to the 4.6 release notes at http://qt.nokia.com/developer/changes/changes-4.6.0 
:
* The Cocoa port now supports static linking.
Ok, that's nice, but when I do a ./configure --help, it still says:
"Note that -no-framework and -static is not supported with -cocoa"
So which is it? Did the configure script text just not get updated?
