Oh, hello there!

Maybe now since we are already two people we can create some noise to be heard, what do you think? ;)
My position is that I am working then and when on a private project of mine, so no real pressure for me to have it. But it would be nice if I could learn/convert to OpenGL 3 this way.

Okay then, so "in 0.1 versions from now on" is still a possibility then... when is the 4.7 coming out again? 8-)

Interesting. That is probably not a problem as long as they really just create an 3.0 (3.1) context. But I read somewhere (somewhere in a forum on opengl.org) that from 3.2 they really dropped some GL functions, which would be fatal if an application expected a 2.x context ;)
But it is good to know when experimenting with the "New GL Way(tm)" that this would actually be possible this way - I still have to get used not to use glRotate, glVertex and whatever else is deprecated (but use vertex shaders instead). I used to have an ATI in my Windows XP box, would be interesting what they do.
Since a couple of weeks I am the proud owner of an iMac (do the have ATI as well?) with MacOS 10.6 (well, actually I am still struggling with "Finder" and stuff, and am falling back more and more often to the Terminal as to get things done /quickly/ - but don't tell this to my Mac friends ;)
Uhm, okay, now it totally gets off-topic, sorry about that ;)
Thank you, Oliver
