When you say "does't show menubar" perhaps it does show it and you
just can't see it. This may well depend on the application's default
style, and whether the background colour of the menubar is the same as
the background colour of the mainWindow.

Do you have a genuine need for creating a visible menubar without any
menus? If you add a menu to your menubar, I expect that you will see
it.
