[Qt-interest] Compile QT in static and dynamic

I would highly recommend against it.. While you may want to make your release BOM easier by using static, Qt does not work 100% the same way when it’s a static vs non-statci build. Plugins work differently is the big one. You are asking for release only bugs that are going to be a pain to track down..

Subject: [Qt-interest] Compile QT in static and dynamic

Hi,

I'd like to know if there is any way to run configure to create the make files, to compile Qt in dynamic in Debug, and in static in Release.

I know I can run 2 configure in separate, but then for examples and demos, the make file is only setup for one of them.

Any ideias?
