[Qt-interest] Backward binary compatibility guarantee

I found this coding conventions page:

    http://qt.gitorious.org/qt/pages/CodingConventions

that says:
"Keep backward binary compatibility + backward source code compatibility in minor releases"

which sounds like just what I wanted to hear.

I was wondering whether this is a guarantee that Nokia makes to users of Qt and where it is published.

Can anyone provide a pointer?

Thanks,
Rush
