[Qt-interest] Extension widget/Settings in QFileDialog?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to have a small widget embedded within a
QFileDialog.

Something like this is implemented in many applications, especially
applications that can export to many different file formats.
The extension is basically just a small space under the file browser part of
QFileDialog, which allows the user to change a few settings (usually a file
format, line break format, etc.).

Something like this:
http://www.clausbrod.de/twiki/pub/CoCreateModeling/OsdmFaqFileHandling/fileversions.jpg

Can this be done using Qt [4.6]?
