Well I'll be honest and say I don't know up until now I've never used 
git I simply entered:

git pull git://gitorious.org/qt/qt.git

and built from that.

Since I got no reply I looked at the offending code and 'fixed' it 
myself. From what I read it should have been viewer->source() and not 
viewer->url() so this is what I used.

Thankfully this resulted in the completion of the build process and I am 
now able to use it, but I do have a rather obscure error during linking 
but I'm in the process of rebuilding boost with the ICC. But I may well 
be back!
