[Qt-interest] Qt on Android

Hello all,

Apparently, Android will be mainstream next year -- lots of devices will be
running Android in 2010. For someone like me who is banking on Qt running
everywhere, it might be a disappointment if Qt applications cannot be easily
run on Android. My question is, can Qt apps be run on a standard Android
platform and if not, are there plans to make that possible?

Additionally, Apple is clearly going to announce new devices with a
programming environment based on the Cocoa API early next year. Can Qt apps
be run on the iPhone? Adobe for example enables developers to package
external applications into native iPhone applications which are legally
available on the app store. Is there any plan for Qt on this front? In my
humble opinion, its mightily important that Qt enables this. Many developers
would be happy and strategy-wise, multiple reasons tell me that it could be
a very good strategy for 2010 and beyond.

Best regards,
Andreas
