[Qt-interest] Uninstalling previous version of SDK in Linux

I recently installed the latest version of the Qt X11 SDK and discovered that
it didn't automatically remove the previous version. I'm now left with a
qtsdk-2009.04 (which I don't need) and a qtsdk-2009.05 (which is the current
installation folder in my /usr/local. I've done a ./configure, make and make
install in the /usr/local/qtsdk-2009.05/qt folder and Qt Creator comes up
showing Qt at v4.6, so clearly, I'm using the latest stuff.
Am I OK to just delete the qtsdk-2009.04 folder and its contents or is there
some other more invasive action that I should take to remove the old version?
Should I have done something with the old version prior to installing the new
version? Also, I've noticed that during installation of the SDK, one of the
steps is the configuration of an "uninstaller". However, I can find no evidence
of the existence of one. does anybody know its whereabouts?
Thanks.
