[Qt-interest] OpemMP directives in QT

Hello forum,

I have a volume rendering application that is built with OpenMP directive to
take advantage of the
multi-core system.

Now i want to refurnish that with Qt and i need to include -fopenmp as
compiler flags and linker flags
which i can set in the .pro file.


I was wondering if that is going to conflict with default pthread model
while linking , because every Qt application
is compiled with pthread enabled. How to disable that?

Will Qt compiler  consider or ignore OpenMP directives ?


Any more suggestion on that issue?
