[Qt-interest] How to draw a line on the mainwindow

Hi,

Do you mean the central widget of the main window ? Remember that if you 
draw on a widget (via paintEvent()) that has children widgets, those 
will be drawn OVER the parent widget. If you have an empty central 
widget you can reimplement its paintEvent() and draw there.
