Apologies Ian, Perhaps I misunderstood.  I think that Andreas was
suggesting that if there was not enough space on the partition that they
could be missing.  So I attempted to re-install, just in case.  But
unfortunately, these files:

I do not know why the signalsloteditor_plugin.cpp,
signalsloteditor_instance.cpp  & signalsloteditorwindow.cpp  are
missing.  Is gcc not creating them??

also, there is no resourceeditortool.png:

Suggestions?
