[Qt-interest] Overiding paintevent on Ui class

Hi friends,
             i designed a window in Qt Designer and inherit a class and
setupUi(this)
   now i try to repaint over the ui class .
             is it possible and how can i do that?
       QPaintEvent() is painting at the backside of the UI dialog ... i want
to overide it ...
               please help me .. i am new to Qt ..
