Hi again

I said that it would take a while, and wasn't wrong.

First, unpacking the tar package. At first I used GNU tar 1.1.3, and
noticed several missing file warnings when I ran configure. I
re-unpacked the file (with GNU tar 1.1.4 on a RHEL 5 machine). This time
it seemed to unpack without errors.

On to the build. I did a plain configure at first, and ran into the same
problems with the SFW version of libtiff.

Next I tried ./configure -qt-libtiff, and everything that was configured
built. No QtDBus, Phonon, WebKit, QtXmlPatterns.

This was with GCC 4.0.2, built in-house.
