[Qt-interest] How to create an action with additional dropdown "button" that opens a menu?

Hi,

is it possible to create an action for a QToolBar that has a dropdown 
button on its side?
I know it's possible to add a menu to an action, but this menu is only 
accessable via the context menu.

I'm looking for something like the breadcrumps in the Explorer of Vista:

The purpose of this is to create an "Open File" action on a QToolBar 
that has a dropdown button on its right side to get a list of recently 
opened files.
