[Qt-interest] Centering the mainwindow

for doubt i am asking  if it is possible to get the screen resolution size
(1600x1200) like that ..
        and cant we position it...
     i create one frameless widget looks like a tool  bar with a menu button
. if user clicks a menu will appear .. and i have to position it in the
bottom of the screen  .. all i use is
         dialog->setGeometry(10,800,1010,40)
  so i always place the application at bottom level ...
