[Qt-interest] QLineEdit: limit lenght of data to type

Hello list

Can anybody tell me if I can limit the length of data to a maximum fixed
size in a QLineEdit object? something like the text field in a html form...
Am making a database application and want to limit the string lenght while
typing the contents instead of cropping data or sending an error dialog...
