[Qt-interest] Phonon plugins Linux vs Windows

Hello and happy 2009 for all of you

I have a doubt... have compiled Qt 4.4.3 for both Linux and Windows with
phonon support... testing the example programs the windows version shows
lots of codecs while linux shows only 3 or 4... where or how can I get/add
plugins to linux so it can play at least mp3 files?
