[Qt-interest] problems with QTcpSocket

Hello.
First of all, I am new in the QT mailing list and wanted to send a greeting to all. 
I develop in C++ language with Kdevelop environment and my system is Opensuse 11.
I'm working on a project that connects to my pc with another pc, not blocking signals using TCP. But my problem is that the socket timeout is very big.
How could reduce the timeout?
