[Qt-interest] Qt coloring scheme

Dear all,
I'm very ignorant regarding Qt coloring scheme. Does it has 32 bits or 16 bits?
If it has 32 bits, is there a way to compile my application in 16 bits coloring scheme?

I'll be need to compile my application for desktop and embedded.
is there any information how to conduct this for qt-desktop and for qt-embedded?
