[Qt-interest] painting on a widget

Hi Bjoern,

Thanks for your reply (and to others who have given suggestions).

I probably didn't make this very clear in my initial post.  The helper class
isn't a Widget - it's just a class that knows how to draw itself on a
QPainter.  So I can't call raise() on it.

Any other thoughts?

QWidget::raise() is probably what you are looking for.
