[Qt-interest] QMainWindow raise() on Macs

Hi All-
Why don't the QMainWindow activateWindow() and raise() method work on Macs?
In other words, I need my QMainWindow to NOT have the Qt::Tool window 
flag, but I do need
to be able to raise the window to the top.  Any help?

Qt version: 4.4
OS: Mac OS X version 10.5.6
