[Qt-interest] ui form inheritance

Hi Chris
  Firstly, thanks for that; I will look into it.
  Secondly I am new to the forum and hope that I am doing the right thing in 
just replying to your email?
  Thirdly What do people normally do faced with my problem, for example do 
they simply not use the designer and write the code from scratch?  I will 
look at custom widgets, but they seem a lot of work to achieve such a simple 
thing?
