[Qt-interest] Fail with new GCC and backward compatibility

Hi friends,

Compile my program in Fedora 11 and using the compiler to be more current to run the program as a dependency failure Kubuntu: 


libstdc++.so.6: version 'GLIBCXX_3.4.11' not found


 There is some argument as to compile using backward compatibility in these cases?
