[Qt-interest] Using QtWebKit with Java plugin

yes currently qtwebkit does not support java applets.  The support is  
in WebKit, but just has not been added to the qtwebkit port.  If you  
are interested in helping to add java to qtwebkit you can grab the  
source and submit patches to bugs.webkit.org
