[Qt-interest] Virtual inheritance in qt

Hi Luigi,

We were previously Delphi developers... used visual inheritance quite a
bit - and ended up with mixed feelings about it! There is no 'Visual
Inheritance' in the same way that Borland implemented theirs.... we made
a decision to implement customised widgets instead

This did mean a rethink about how certain things work - but has ended up
being MUCH more flexible... we definitely wouldn't go back to visual
inheritance - and if we went back to Delphi development - we'd probably
make much greater use of custom widgets there too.

Thus far, we've implemented more than 30 custom widgets for our
applications.
