[Qt-interest] Multiple mouse events at the same time?

Out of curiosity: I once read somewhere that Xorg was going to (or is
already able to, I don't remember) manage more than one cursor pointer
at the same time -- thus allowing for multiple cursor based gestures.
Since I cannot find the source anymore, is it already capable of such
marvel and is Qt already supporting this feature, or am I imagining
things?
