[Qt-interest] Qt3 vs Qt4 performance on remote X11 display

Hi guys.

I've tried to launch simple Qt4 application on remote X11 display. The
application performance is VERY bad. It takes ~4 seconds to just repaint
focused widget.

Qt3 performance is not so fast too however if I compare "qtconfig" tools
from both Qt3 and Qt4, Qt3 version works much faster. Qt3 performance is
almost same as "Tcl/Tk". Qt4 is unusable at all. Even M$ windows
applications works faster (using wine).

Any ideas? Maybe some workaround.
