[Qt-interest] How to write QT applications?! please don't refers to QT websites.

hello guys,

I'm very new to programming with QT so....I started my new project in QT+VTK and of course C++. So, now, I'm a bit in trouble in figuring out how to organize the set of classes I need. for example
now I have a main file, a .ui -> .h file with the class for the GUI and that's it. So I started adding some events (slot/signals) but what is not yet clear to me is, which class has to manage those events? shall I write my own one or there is a standart way?
Any good reference/tutorial that I can follow?
