Did you look at the sender of these mails? I've come to the conclusion that
most of them are from India, some from other asian countries. Somehow IT
workers there seem to lack knowledge or education on how to use mailing
lists, but are simply pointed to them and said "ask there if you need help"
(which IMHO often enough results in mails *demanding* help like this were a
commercial service). But perhaps it's simply a cultural thing. Come to think
of it, I also gained the impression that some of them lack basic knowledge
about using a C++ compiler and environment, too...
Sorry for sounding a bit harsh and resigned, but this observations reach
back to almost a century of following a handful of newsgroups/mailing lists
:-(
