I think it is not really possible to write multiplatform apps with Microsoft
COM Technology!

As You intend to integrate a COM Library (not a com control) I assume there
is less support of QT to support You.

So I think it will be a better approach to start learning the basics of COM
together with the C++ integration of it.

There are a lot of books around (one of them I can really recommend :
"Creating Lightweight Components with ATL).

Karl-Heinz

With which development tool did You work.

I had planned on using QtCreator. I would eventually like to make this
program multiplatform, since the API library runs on Windows and Mac, and
soon, Linux.

Again, is there any good documentation that explains how to use COM with Qt?

Any documentation on how to interact with Microsoft IDL files in Qt?

Thanks,

Walter Shirey
