[Qt-interest] QFileDialog. File list is not updated

My application based on (QT 4.4.3) runs on supposed to be identically set up computers running CentOS:
Linux version 2.6.18-92.el5 (mockbuild at builder10.centos.org) (gcc version 4.1.2 20071124 (Red Hat 4.1.2-42))

On my computer when I am opening the QFileDialog and after this adding files to the shown directory file list is refreshed mostly immediately, which is expected.

On the another computer it does not refresh at all.
The only way to see updated information - is to close and reopen the dialog.

Anybody has any idea what it can be? Is it a bug, problem with system configuration.
Is there at least any way for user to enforce QFileDialog to refresh the file list?
