Others already told us... must have to do with MSVC++ and the terribly large
object code it produces. I personally have no problem with that, 'cause the
resulting code (the DLLs and my apps) is quite small (and fast).
Also, on Linux where I usually develop, I don't build the debug stuff...
that's a difference, too. But other than that, I guess it must be the
compiler. It's nothing that QT Software can change, I'm afraid.
