This matches my experience perfectly, I just didn't realize it. I used 
to have a commercial license, but after Qt changed to LGPL we've let the 
commercial license expire. I can understand that paying customers get 
priority, but it would probably take little effort to send an 
acknowledgement email that states exactly that.
