[Qt-interest] Terminal program

Hi,

I am about to write a simple terminal program for a specific hardware.
License will be GPL or public domain.
Could someone tell me please which widget I should use as central widget?
I mean when a line is written in the widget and enter pressed that
line is sended to com-port and when something is coming back that line
is appended to the central widget.

This QT seems more and more powerfull more I study it - Great!
I hope Nokia wuold include handling of com-ports in platform independent way.
